The battery lasts more than 6 months if no theft attempt occurs. Each theft attempt, in fact, consumes a percentage of the battery, as the device has to connect to the network, activate the GPS and track the thief. Conversely, while the owner is using the vehicle, Trackting BIKE does not do any tracking, precisely to ensure maximum battery life. The battery status can be viewed on the App and when it runs low, you will receive a notification. To recharge the internal battery, simply connect the device to a USB charger via the cable with connector provided in the package.
Caution: with some power banks the device may not charge, this is because the charging current is very low and some power banks may not detect the voltage and may not start charging. In these cases it will be necessary to use a wall outlet or another power bank.
Yes, they are free. You can receive as many as you like if you don’t answer (i.e. end the call with the red button on your smartphone). If you do happen to answer, don’t worry: you get 10 per month, which renew automatically.
The subscription for the integrated e-SIM is €29 for one year (12 months) or €59 for 3 years (36 months). The service includes: unlimited connectivity in Europe (50 countries), alarm calls, customer service, firmware updates and App.
When you purchase the tracker, you have 30 days to use it without paying for a subscription, which you have to activate at the end of the free period, conveniently paying in-App.
The TRACKING BIKE T7 / T8 does: you just need to fix it properly, i.e. in such a way that it cannot easily pick up vibrations.
The device detects the position using as many as three systems (GPS, Glonass, Galileo) with a minimum margin of error, up to 5 m outdoors.
Trackting BIKE is activated directly from the App via Bluetooth connection, so to activate/deactivate it you need to be in the bike’s vicinity.
It is not necessary to disassemble the battery because the Trackting BIKE has a connector, protected by a rubber grommet, which you can access for recharging. Caution: with some power banks the device may not charge, this is because the charging current is very low and some power banks may not detect the voltage and may not start charging. In these cases it will be necessary to use a wall outlet or another power bank.
The device only needs a Bluetooth connection to be switched on and off. The app does NOT use Bluetooth in the background, so it does not download to your smartphone in any way when it is switched off.
Yes, you can deactivate the device via the App while you are in the vicinity.
You can decide not to renew the service: the device will simply not work until you decide to reactivate the service. Please note: if you do not activate it for a continuous period of 18 months, the internal SIM will be deactivated and it will no longer be possible to reactivate it.
You top up your annual credit via the App. Follow the simple steps described at the bottom of the How it works page.
Unfortunately not, because TRACKING BIKE works on vehicles that can only be in these 2 modes: moving or parked. A boat, when anchored, is constantly moving due to the waves and therefore the system would always go into alarm (which is not allowed, as well as being detrimental to the battery, which would discharge very quickly).
This is not possible, because the built-in SIM is an eSIM and therefore not replaceable.
Yes. You can associate as many BIKE and SMART ALARM devices as you want with the Trackting app on your phone. So you can monitor your vehicles at the same time: bikes, motorbikes, scooters, cars, campers, etc.
We are particularly ‘manic’ on this point! Nobody can know the position of your bike. Not even us. Your privacy is respected because the position data is encrypted. BIKE in Parking mode only saves the last parking position (it does not record a history). In Alarm mode it stores and displays the last 5 positions of the bike, allowing you to retrieve it.
WARNING: BIKE is not a fleet or vehicle tracker. It is an alarm, and therefore only tracks the vehicle in the event of theft.
Yes, just install the Trackting App on both, entering the same username and password to use it simultaneously on both phones.
If you park in an underground garage or cellar or with a particularly heavy ceiling, GPS coverage (satellites) may not be available, so you will not be able to see your position on the map. But no problem: your bike will still be safe. In fact, in case it is stolen, BIKE will immediately register the alarm by sending the notification and will provide the updated position as soon as it picks up the signal again when taken outside.
Yes, BIKE will be activated in case of theft and will send you the location and notification immediately as soon as it can connect to the cellular network.
The main differences are these:
1) AirTag DOES NOT ALERT YOU IN CASE OF THEFT
BIKE is a real bike anti-theft device that phones you in case of theft. AirTags, on the other hand, do not alert you in case of theft: they are simply anti-loss devices for objects (keys, wallets, backpacks, luggage…) that communicate via Bluetooth at a maximum distance of 30 metres
2) BIKE IS ALWAYS CONNECTED
BIKE has a built-in SIM card that connects to the GSM cellular network so it always works, no matter how far you are from your vehicle, and it even works in remote locations. For example, if you are in other city and the bike is in at home, you will easily receive the alarm and tracking signal. AirTag, on the other hand, exploits the proximity communication of Apple devices (the ‘Where’s’ network) so it only works when passing close to an iPhone.
3) TRUE SATELLITE TRACKING
BIKE uses an active GPS antenna that exploits three satellite systems (GPS, Galileo and Glonass) and tracks the moving vehicle in real time, also indicating its direction and speed. AirTag, on the other hand, gets its position from the nearest Apple device. So it has no way of knowing its position unless it is in the vicinity of another Apple device.
4) AirTag IS DETECTABLE BY ANYONE
AirTag is ineffective in the event of theft because if a thief moves in a vehicle equipped with AirTag, he is notified on his smartphone!

Yes you can, however with some power banks the device may not recharge, this is because the charging current is very low and some power banks may not detect the voltage and may not start charging. In these cases it will be necessary to use a wall outlet or another power bank.
The smartphone connects to the device with bluetooth, so it is important to always keep the bluetooth connection active on your mobile phone. Through the app on your smartphone, the recognition and bluetooth connection with your BIKE device will take place automatically, you will not need to search for the device (which will not appear visible), and manual pairing.
Tracking BIKE can only work through the app installed on your smartphone via the Bluetooth connection.
If the bluetooth connection is deactivated, the device will not work, a message will appear in the app inviting you to activate it in order to use the protection and tracking service.
No, for the correct functioning of the BIKE app and device it is essential that the geolocation of the smartphone is always active, otherwise the device will not be able to connect with the phone and it will not be possible to access the service. Furthermore, when the app protection function is activated, the position is sampled by the mobile phone’s GPS module
