How to check if the tag battery is charged (SMART V3)

The procedure refers exclusively to the Tag compatible with SMART V3, as shown here in the photo.

The discharged Tag could be the cause of some false alarm events (such as the activation of the alarm state while driving) which is why, in these cases, it is always good practice to check the status of the Tag’s battery.

On SMART V3, when the Tag’s battery is flat and the tag is moving, you will see the LED in the center of the Tag flash red: this means that the battery needs to be replaced
